Blurred Twin, Tremor Hex & Chaotalion @ Gängeviertel – Hamburg (DE)

Blurred Twin, Tremor Hex & Chaotalion @ Gängeviertel, Hamburg – 09.03.2019

The highlight of this evening was Blurred Twin. I discoverd here this evening. A beautiful and talented young woman. She impressed us all!

I found a pefect description of her project on SoundCloud: “Blurred Twin, the latest music project by the Hamburg self-taught artist Kristin Theresa Drechsler, weaves a booming sound with harmonium and voice, in which the boundaries between inside and outside become permeable. Weightless, freed from earthly restrictions, their songs wrap everything around them in a dense fog. Darkness is neither a challenge nor a threat to her, but the etheric body, into which she weaves herself deeper and deeper into each other, so that human and instrument blur: The harmonium breathes, the voice becomes a drone that goes to the marrow.”

Here is a little video of her:

Temor Hex was also great with very nice visuals.  They describe theselves : « Tremor Hex is feedbacking drone from Hamburg City. The duo combines 8MM and HI8 visuals with massive bass and guitar driven soundscapes to create an encompassing audivisual experience loaded with strong political content. The focus is clearly anti-fascist and anti-nationalist. » You can check them out HERE. And they are also definitively worth to be seen live.

Chaotalion is the actual main project, since 1997, of the multidirectional musician and sound artist Alexander Marco. With experimental dark drones and ritual scapes, he creates hypnotic, surreal soundscapes that casually move the inclined listener into completely different realities. Here is his album Tannenholzrauch on Bandcamp
